This workshop is designed to assist you in working with your colleagues to systematically factor the external environment into the strategic planning process. The specific objectives are to:

• identify potential events that could affect higher education

• derive implications and recommend actions vis-à-vis these potential events


• review anticipatory management tools and techniques to meet and deal with potential events
